For all of you that do not watch 24, the new season is AWESOME.... Ive loved every hour of it so far. I just got done rewatching season 5 on DVD and that was also a great season, but those of you who do watch 24 know that last season sucked. It had its moments (basically the beginning and the end, the middle got really bad) but this new season more than makes up for the last season. I really think Kiefer Suntherland does outstanding work as Jack Bauer. Jack is one of those characters that you respect, idolize, fear, and sometimes become angry with. He has done horrible things, but he has always done them to protect this country, at all costs. He has completely ruined his life in his effort to protect America, and Kiefer really makes us feel horrible for jack. I think Jack Bauer may be the most interesting and compelling characters TV has ever seen. Most people who dislike 24 cite its unbelievable and far fetched stories, but all tv shows have elements that are hard to believe. We need to watch 24 for what it is, a kick ass hour of tv that is also dramatic, heart breaking, and heart pounding. If you don't watch 24 START WATCHING IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really glad that you said this. I was a huge fan of the first two or three seasons of 24 but after that I thought it sort of fell off and got to be a little bit predictable which is really the one thing that can kill a program like this. I have not seen every episode of the new season I must admit, but it does seem to be a lot more interesting and gripping than the last couple. I think that this post has sort of reinvigorated my desire to watch the show. Thanks for that. Let It Be Known.
24... ah yes. Another one of those shows that sit and mock me, all boxed up and ready to go. Between 24 and LOST I feel like I've had a generation of TV shoot right on past me. Any summer now I will catch up. You bet.
Bjorn, I do have to agree between 24 and Lost you have had a generation of TV shoot past you. These shows are so good. I held out on lost because it just looked ridiculous, but I borrowed the first 3 seasons from a co-worker and I watched them within like a month or two. I was watching maybe five episodes at a time. Then I watched the fourth season in about a week so I could watch the fifth season when it premiered. Now I regret it because I have to wait week to week to find out whats going to happen next and I hate waiting. James I'm glad I was able to reinvigorate your desire to watch 24. Jack needs you!!!
