Mongol on the computer screen
I don't know what you guys all think but I feel like Mongol would have been much more enjoyable had I seen it on the big screen. Some people don't seem to mind watching tv shows or movies on their computers and I usually don't mind but depending on the program it makes a big difference. Mongol is a film that needs to be seen on the big screen due to its scope and epic feeling. I couldn't appreciate the vast landscapes and the amazing costumes and sets on a tiny presentation. I wonder if the sacrifice of quality is worth the gain in easy access?

I certainly have to say that the version I saw was alot better because of the transfer that we watched through realplayer (I know it is not your fault Prof.) I agree that it would be awesome to watch on the big screen, kinda like watching Titanic on big screen (skip the beginning and start at about the 1 hour 30 minute point of course).
Hey I agree with you on watching the film on the big screen thats a huge plus because i mean those action scenes would have been amazing as well as the choosing the bride scene...on another note yes mike i hated borat...with a passion i mean i know what he was trying to do but it seemed more stupidity than anything else...i just didnt see the substance in it...i think americans know that we kinda sorda are ignorant to the outside world but really he just idk i just hated it and i cant explain why
I completely agree with you on this. I really enjoyed this film, but it would have been even better on the big screen. I had some trouble reading text that appeared on screen because of the fact that the film had kind of a pixelated look on my computer. However, even without the technical issues, it would have been helpful to watch this film on a larger screen because it was beautifully shot, but watching it on a computer screen doesn't really do it justice.
