Spike Lee
Well tonight was the Spike Lee Event, and it was a lot more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be mostly a discussion on his politics and then he would give his social commentary, but I was glad that the majority of the discussion was on his career and basically a motivational speech for us to take school seriously. Mr. Lee was very smart and very funny, and his speech and the Q & A were incredibly interesting. I feel fortunate that he took the time to visit BSC, and I was glad that he took time at the end to sign autographs and answer more questions. If anyone else has anything to say about this, I would love to discuss.

I really enjoyed Spike as well--cool to have someone I've followed and enjoyed for (geez) nearly 20 years now here on campus. It was a big big night for BSC and folks who follow film.
See my blog for a discussion on the foreign-language oscar....my 371 class correctly picked the Austrian film!
